Whenever he walked by, he’d stop to greet them, share a
laugh, or even join in their games. When he visited his
daughter Fatima’s house, he’d stand at the door and call out
with a smile, “Any kids here?” Hasan and Husayn would
run to him with joy, wrapping their arms around his neck.
He was the best father and the most loving grandfather
anyone could wish for.

After completing her degree in psychology at Boğaziçi University, she worked as an editor for several children's publication. Her research interest in the field led her to study in the Communication and Media Research department at Johannes Gutenberg University. After years of research and experience in the field, she moved to North America. Sumeyra is working as a senior editor of the Atlasia Kids Magazine.
