Irfan Yilmaz, PhD, is a scholar of zoology, history of science, and philosophy of biology. After having served as a professor of zoology for more than three decades at Dokuz Eylul University in Turkey, he is currently the editor-in-chief of Caglayan, a monthly magazine that publishes articles on science, religion, and culture. Based in Germany, Dr. Yilmaz continues to write on nature, alternative medicine, and on the debate between the theory of evolution and creation.
